CardLuma is eBay-first: you connect your eBay account through eBay's official, secure sign-in, then publish clean, complete listings straight from CardLuma. You stay in control — connect when you're ready, review before anything goes live, and disconnect anytime.
How to connect eBay
You'll need an active eBay seller account and a CardLuma account (the 14-day free trial requires no credit card).
- In CardLuma, open Settings → eBay connection.
- Click Connect eBay. You'll be taken to eBay's own sign-in page.
- Sign in on eBay and review what you're authorizing.
- Approve, and eBay returns you to CardLuma — you're connected.
What permissions are needed
CardLuma requests the access it needs to create and manage your card listings on your behalf — creating and updating listings and applying your business policies. You authorize this through eBay directly, and CardLuma never sees your eBay password. You can revoke access from your eBay account settings, or disconnect from CardLuma, at any time.
What CardLuma can do
- Publish listings straight to eBay through eBay's API — no CSV exports or copy-pasting required.
- Auto-fill the item specifics buyers filter on (set, card number, player, team, sport, parallel, grade, autograph, serial number, and more).
- Apply your saved payment, shipping, and return policies to every batch.
- Manage inventory: view active and sold listings, inline-edit prices, bulk-change fields, and relist or delist.
- Import your existing active eBay listings so you don't rebuild your store from scratch.

What CardLuma cannot do
- It won't publish anything without you — every listing is yours to review first.
- It never receives or stores your eBay password; sign-in and authorization happen on eBay.
- It focuses on listing, pricing, and inventory — not buyer messaging, feedback, or order fulfillment and shipping-label purchase.
- It won't list the same batch twice — duplicate publishing is blocked by design.
How publishing works
You identify and price cards in CardLuma, review the listing, then publish with one button. Cards go from identified to live on eBay without leaving the app, and each listing is linked back to the card in CardLuma so you always know what's live. Nothing publishes until you say so.
How policies, categories, and relisting work
- Policies: sync your eBay payment, shipping, and return policies into CardLuma once, set defaults, and they apply to every batch — no duplicate entry or mismatched settings.
- Categories: CardLuma identifies the card and fills the matching eBay category and item specifics, so listings land where buyers actually search.
- Relisting: manage active and sold listings from eBay inventory management — relist, delist, inline-edit, or bulk-update without rebuilding.
If sync ever fails
If a connection or sync issue occurs, reconnect from Settings → eBay connection. Still stuck? Contact support and we'll help.
